THE NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS

All too often, homeless shelters receive donations that aren’t suitable for their clients. Socks are one of the most needed, but least donated items. At Sock Footage, our goal is to close that gap. As such, we are proud to have partnered with multiple organizations responsible for the redistribution of our sock donations to the homeless community.

For each pair of socks purchased on our site, a donation pair is provided courtesy of our brand. At checkout, you will be given the option to donate face-to-face or to have us send your donation pair to one of our partner charities. Shelters have expressed a specific need for Men’s ONLY, basic, cotton socks. Our complimentary pair of socks was carefully selected with this in mind. Our donation socks are grey so that they are better able to mask any dirt that is collected over time; they also have cushioning in the heel and toe areas to provide maximum comfort.

CONNECTION, AWARENESS & COMMUNITY

Sock Footage was born out of a desire to combine a passion for socks with giving back to those less fortunate. We are looking to spread awareness about the importance of giving back through our #PAYITFOOTWARD initiative. It is a step in the right direction for brands to give away their products to those in need on your behalf. However, our main goal is to encourage consumers to reclaim that in-person donation experience while using technology to share highlights of the moment and how it made them feel.
