Q: Is it true that I get a complimentary pair of donation socks with every pair of funky socks purchased on your site?

A: It is! Isn’t that the greatest?! Given that you were going to purchase that funky pair of socks anyways, now you get to something good for someone else in the process. Our mission is to empower you to engage in acts of kindness as a by-product of your sock selections. Now you can look good and feel good as a direct result of your purchase on our site.

Q: What does it mean to #PAYITFOOTWARD?

A: The definition of the well-known phrase “PAY IT FORWARD” refers to the act of doing something nice for someone because someone else did something nice for you. At Sock Footage, our version of “paying it forward” is to “PAY IT FOOTWARD”. The word “FOOTWARD” is an adjective meaning “towards, or in the direction of, the foot or feet.” With the purchase of any pair of socks from our site, users will receive an additional, complimentary donation pair, to be able to engage in a random act of kindness in an effort to spread awareness of the importance of giving back. By sharing footage of your donation highlights online using #PAYITFOOTWARD, you can help us start a positive movement around being charitable, removing the stigma associated with homelessness.

Q: Can I gift a pair of socks or a subscription plan to someone special?

A: Yes! You can! In fact, we encourage it. We can’t think of a better way to spread awareness of the sock footage mission than by sharing our message with someone else in an effort to consciously #PAYITFOOTWARD. We offer gift subscriptions for any occasion (birthdays, wedding parties, graduations, anniversaries, the holidays, etc.) for that special person in your life. What a great way to teach others to be charitable and to express the importance of giving back while benefiting from the surprise of a new, funky sock each month.

Q: Do I have to sign a contract for any subscription plans?

A: Please note that with our monthly subscription plan, you can cancel at any time. Should you decide, however, to select either of the pre-paid 6-month or annual subscription plans, please note that you will be locked into paying a lump sum upon checkout, so cancelling is unfortunately not an option.

Q: If I go with the monthly subscription option, will I be charged each month, or is it a one-time thing?

A: Should you move forward in selecting our monthly subscription plan, you’ll be billed on a monthly basis with the ability to cancel at any time.

Q: Do you have socks available for men, women and kids?

A: We’ve got it all!

Q: Do you have different sizing available for kids?

A: While the kids’ socks that we offer start at S/M (shoe size 10-13), we also offer M/L (shoe size 13-3). Additionally, our K.Bell Kids’ socks are shoe size 11-4.

Q: Do you have different sizing available for men and women?

A: While the socks are all technically one size fits all (O/S), the typical o/s sizing range can vary from brand to brand. That being said, if you visit the description details of each sock, each corresponding size range is listed individually.

Q: What will each monthly subscription sock assortment consist of?

A: With our subscription plans, members will gain access to two pairs of unique, exclusive styles each month that are not being sold online. We will do our best to provide you with our funkiest designs, showcasing a mix between bold patterns and novelty prints.

Q: Do I get to pick my socks each month? Can I return anything that I decide I do not like?

A: The benefit to signing up for a subscription or gifting one to someone special is the excitement of not knowing what is coming in the mail. Each month, our sock carefully curate the two styles that will be sent out to our members. The only guarantee we can make is that they will always be bright, bold and original. Besides, everyone loves giving and receiving socks, so if you decide that you aren’t really vibing the socks that you get, they make a great gift!

Q: Will each monthly subscription package be delivered along with the corresponding complimentary donation socks?

A: During the “add to cart” portion of your purchase, you will be given the option to check a box to either have your extra pair of socks donated directly to one of our charitable partners or shipped to you with your order to be handed out in person to someone less fortunate. Our preference is always for our members to try and connect face-to-face with someone in need, as it usually leads to more meaningful donation experiences to be able to witness the benefit of giving firsthand. That being said, we would be more than happy to arrange to contribute the complimentary pair on your behalf.

Q: What is the benefit to signing up for the pre-paid six-month or annual plans vs. the standard monthly membership?

A: A one time charge!

Q: How much is shipping?

A: All of our monthly subscription packages ship free! Please note that on all other sock purchases outside our subscription plans, we have a flat shipping rate of $15.00 for any orders of $50 or less (before taxes). As such, orders totalling $50+ will ship free, so make it worth your while and buy in bulk!

Q: How do I change my address?

A: Please let us know by filling out the form on our contact page, and one of our sock-brokers will get that adjusted for you so you won’t miss out on any of your monthly subscriptions. While we will do our best to intercept and correct orders before they ship, this may not always be possible. Always try to submit your address change A.S.A.P. to avoid issues.

Q: Where do you ship from and on what dates do you ship?

A: All orders will ship from our home office in Toronto, Ontario. Our first wave of shipments will usually go out mid-month—typically by the fifteenth. We tend to ship out another wave about one week later for orders placed after we’ve closed the first round. Depending on where you are located, it usually takes about 5-10 business days for socks to be delivered to your mailbox.

Q: Do you ship outside of Canada?

A: Yes, we do. We currently ship to both the U.S. and Canada, and our neighbours across the border really love us because their dollar is stronger ; )
